It got a full body restoration from the ground up. The engine was rebuilt and tuned to 309bhp, running Schrick cams, a Scorpion six-branch manifold, bored out to 3.0 with Wössner pistons, and a Vortech supercharger added for good measure. The interior was given a bespoke retrim, and custom brackets brought AP calipers behind a freshly built set of BBS RS wheels, built to spec. The whole thing was finished in timeless Oak Green.
There was honestly nothing more you could do to a Mk2 Golf.
